A chair―rail―high band of teal paint behind tall upholstered headboards plays with scale as well as complementary colors in the guest room. A gold wallpaper in a small, modern pattern. It's pure Hollywood glamour, but it does not tip into Vegas style because the tone is muted as well as it's the only gold in the room. Note the gold as well as teal ― always a lovely combo. From there she hit up West Elm as well as Pier 1 Imports as well as took photos to get an idea of her options as well as how to pull everything together. She snatched up a striped lumbar pillow at Pier 1, deciding it would give her the bedroom color palette, as well as put the swivel chair as well as ottoman on hold. The pillow gave her a cool masculine mix of teals, grays as well as browns to work with.
This master bedroom shows how muted colors ― such as the varied family of grays & silver tones here ― can made vibrant as well as inviting ― with a punch of color (in this case, bright teal/turquoise). The large scale custom built in wall detail behind the king size bed demands attention! This gorgeous built in detail made of mirrors as well as wood energizes the room. Light as well as neutral colors lite up against the bold turquoise.
Pick a shimmering shade Teal is an outstandingly sun―soaked shade that brings the breezy Palm Springs trend into central London. The designer of this bedroom has used it as the linchpin shade, expressed in full―on brightness as well as softer versions, including a silk―weave geometrical rug that unites the elements. Duvet is just White, Pillows are a teal velvet got all those pillows from Modern Chic, she's got a website, contact her as well as show her this picture...I'm sure she'll recognize :) Happy to help :).
From the beginning, I envisioned creating a clean, white palette for the overall look of the apartment, but I also wanted to create some beautiful, unexpected surprises through blocks of color. On the master bedroom wall behind the bed, I installed a vibrant turquoise green silk wallpaper. This teal accent color is a fun vibe combined with the used―wood wall. I'm loving the window views in this room. We could NEVER have a white bedspread! Teal color saved as a possible idea for accents..
